Build a Website – and show me where you are!

United Kingdom(prwindow)- February 01 2009 -Website Builder integrates with Google Maps
London, UK ( PRWindow ) - January 30, 2009 -, the online website builder, announced today that Google Maps is now fully integrated into their Sitemaker platform. This means that anyone who wants to build a website with can easily add a Google map onto their website.

Maps and mapping are one of the most popular applications on the web. The Internet has transformed the way we look at consume maps, so much so that it is the main way that people access geographical information. The new release means that website owners can add a Google maps interface directly onto their website. They can set a location beacon to show their exact location on the maps. And thanks to some cool programming, the maps feature allows website visitors to manipulate the map, by zooming or dragging the location around. This can help users get their bearings.

The UK MD Ken Builder commented today:”Thousands have chosen to build a website because its just so easy to use. But up to now there was a bit of a shortcoming – if website owners wanted to show their location they had to link to an external map resource. Now, thanks to a great integration with Google maps, we’ve given website builders the ability to add customised Google maps to their websites. They look great, they’re easy to use, and of course make it easier for visitors to find their physical location. We’re really excited and are sure its going to be a popular feature”.

Google Maps integration is the latest update to the website builder system and is sure to prove popular. Its all part of a constant evolution and improvement in the website building platform.
