Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, May 22, 2008 -- Statistics have shown that women who stay home and clean their homes with toxic cleaners have a 54% greater risk of getting cancer than those women who work and hire someone to clean their homes. The 15-year study concluded that this was a direct result of the increased exposure to toxic chemicals, many of which are found in common household products. "I know, because I am a cancer statistic," says Nilsson. "I used those toxic chemicals to clean my home for years and. I did get cancer".
