The conference is being held on 19-21 May at the AED Conference Center in Washington, DC.
This summit will bring together leading regulators and energy compliance executives as they present in-depth reviews of best practices for independent reviews, electric reliability compliance, gas market compliance and standards of conduct. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Chairman, Joseph T. Kelliher, will provide the keynote address. In addition, a pre-summit workshop will provide a comprehensive tutorial on how to design and implement an effective compliance program. Attendees will learn the attributes of an effective compliance system and examine the practical steps to design and implement such a program through panel discusses on topics such as Gas Compliance Issues, Structure of NERC Reliability Standards, Understanding How the NERC Discovery, Audit & Reporting Process Works, Establishing a NERC Compliance Program, What To Do if You are Faced with a Compliance Audit or Investigation, Dealing with Independent Investigations and Mitigating & Aggravating Factors in Regulatory Actions.
