This robotic service allows for external inspection of pipeline welds, assuring integrity and safety prior to the commissioning of any new or refurbished pipeline.
In the past several years, Automated Girth Weld Inspection, using ultrasonic methods, has begun to supplant radiography for pipeline weld inspection around the world. AUT offers superior inspection detection and sizing capabilities while reducing the reject rate. This result is due to being able to perform extreme criticality analysis. Hybrid analysis is available as the system features a combination of conventional and phased array ultrasonic functionality; thus offering an inspection solution that is not compromised by a single technique. This high performance system is unique in its modular design, versatility and reliability.
