December 30 2007 -Chris Tsouratakis has been named Small Businessperson of the Year by the Queens Chamber of Commerce.
FLUSHING, NY ( Prwindow ) December 20 – Chris Tsouratakis has been named Small Businessperson of the Year by the Queens Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Tsouratakis is the president of the Booth Flower Shop ( http://www.boothflowershop.com/ ) in Flushing, NY and Flowers by Christos in Jamaica, NY. Mr. Tsouratakis was honored at the Chamber's Annual Business Persons' of the Year luncheon at Russo's on the Bay.
Mr. Tsouratakis was honored for his contributions to the Queens business community, his efforts to expand his businesses and product lines through networking, Internet sales, and the development of special events contracts with and support of other members of the Chamber of Commerce.
"The Chamber of Commerce has been instrumental in my ability to expand my services at both the Booth Flower Shop, and Flowers By Christos," said Tsouratakis. "Booth Flower Shop has been part of the Flushing community for quite awhile, and we were delighted to extend our brand of service to the community in Jamaica earlier this year," he continued. "It's a tremendous honor to be recognized by the business leaders of this community."
Tsouratakis assumed ownership of Flowers by Christos earlier this year. He also redesigned and expanded the Web sites and Internet sales capabilities for both locations.
