One Fine Day!, the drama-edy from the University of Illinois, enters its second season stronger than ever with a larger cast and larger set of stories. Joining the full time cast are newcomers Jessica DiLiberto and Lance Barke, as well as first season recurring actresses Betsy Trevarthen and Brittney Refakes.
The Open Student Television Network (OSTN) has picked up the series and will begin broadcasting this February to its 3,500 US member campuses.
One Fine Day! is an independent student production that revolves around the lives of six resident advisers in a fictional campus dormitory. The show focuses on their relationships and friendships, and the stress of being an RA while trying to balance classes, work, and a love life. OFD! strives to entertain while portraying college life in a realistic, if somewhat amusing manor, and includes themes of young adult homosexuality and college alcoholism.
During the second season, the series will continue to stick to its internet broadcast roots, continuing to be broadcast through websites such as YouTube.com and Dailymotion.com as well as through the series' new homepage www.onefinedaytv.com.
Season one and the first few episodes of season two are now available.
