The Indian Fantasy League will be played between April 18 and June 1 in conjunction with Twenty20 matches to be played in India. Registrations will be open right till the end of IFL. "With our forum, we wish to bring all IFL users and lovers of cricket and fantasy cricket together and give them a platform for discussions and sharing ideas", says Mr. Prashant Sethi, representative of IFL. To play Indian Fantasy League, users have to register and select a team of 16 players and based on the statistics generated by individual players or teams in the actual matches, points will be awarded. The game will be played in 5 phases and prizes will be awarded to the top scorers in each of the phases as well as to the overall leaders. Indian Fantasy League prizes include Acer laptops and desktops, Panasonic Air Conditioners, Canon cameras, Videocon LCD TVs and 5 Ford Fiestas.
