Is Law Of Attraction Coaching A Scam?

Germany(prwindow)- November 26 2007 -Can you benefit from Law of Attraction coaching? Initially it may not seem necessary because if you were to write the "Idiot's Guide to Law of Attraction" you would hardly be able to write more than one paragraph describing it. The rest of your book would be filled with examples. This is because the Law of Attraction itself could not be easier to understand and simpler to use.

Can you benefit from Law of Attraction coaching? Initially it may not seem necessary because if you were to write the "Idiot's Guide to Law of Attraction" you would hardly be able to write more than one paragraph describing it. The rest of your book would be filled with examples. This is because the Law of Attraction itself could not be easier to understand and simpler to use.

A one line definition might go like this: "The Law of Attraction is the natural phenomena of thoughts attracting corresponding people, events and circumstances."

Yet, ironically, because of it's very simplicity, most people do not understand it even when it has been clearly explained to them. In fact, even those who do understand it and have repeatedly demonstrated it in their lives took quite some time to get it.

This, then, is the paradox. It is so simple to understand that we do not understand it. Our minds are complex. They need to structure details into a meaningful pattern. The Law of Attraction, like some kind of cosmic intuition, is immediate and direct. It leaps right to the answer, leaving us in awe. We declare the sudden answer to a hoary problem as a miracle.
Law of Attraction coaching really helps because we get in our own way in studying and applying it. A coach pushes us over the edge of our paradigm.

The poet, Guillaume Appollinaire, a French poet, writer, and art critic, credited with coining the word surrealism once wrote these haunting lines: "'Come to the edge,' he said. They said, 'We are afraid.' 'Come to the edge,' he said. They came. He pushed them. And they flew. . .
In relation to the Law of Attraction, a coach pushes us over the edge. The edge, in this case, is a mental edge. It is the edge of our paradigm, our view of how the world works.

We all have numerous subconscious paradigms, all interweaved into a world-view, and when a new idea is presented to this mental schema, our first reaction is to dismiss it. By dismissing it, we return to homeostasis and feel safe, unthreatened, normal. This process is much like a thermostat returning to the preselected comfortable room temperature after a brief drop in temperature.

The history of ideas is a history of an unusual idea having to push against a lot of resistance before it is finally accepted and embraced. An idea is first ridiculed because it threatens our world-view. We only accept it because the evidence in its favor begins to mount. All of this happens almost on an unconscious level.

The idea of the Law of Attraction while centuries old has only now become recently accepted due to a large part the movie, "The Secret." Yet despite this acceptance, many critics are quite shrill in describing it as "airy-fairy" nonsense.

It is this resistance to the idea that we can have whatever we want simply because we want it that makes the Law of Attraction appear complex. The Law of Attraction itself is not complex but our reaction to it makes it appear to be.

Law of Attraction coaching, then, helps quiet our own internal critic, who firmly believes that we can't get what we want even if we really want it. In fact, it believes that we must struggle mightily to get even small rewards. This mindset is deeply entrenched because it is centuries old. The history of humankind is also a history of struggle, toil, effort, and heartache. This is because even though the early founders of religions spoke about "asking and receiving," this simple idea is not as popular as that of our belief in scarcity and limitation.

So while Law of Attraction coaching is not necessary to learn how to manifest, a coach does help us overcome our own internal skepticism about how easy it is to start getting what we want in life.
