Rock Band “Bang Camaro” To Play During New York Titans Pro Lacrosse Home Opener

New York,NY, Jan 08,2008--The New York Titans of the National Lacrosse League are proud to announce they have signed Boston-based band Bang Camaro to perform during the Titans warm-up and half-time at the Titans home opener against the San Jose Stealth at Madison Square Garden on January 31st at 7:30pm.

Exploding out of Boston comes Bang Camaro, a 5 piece band with up to 20 lead singers belting out their unique blend of 'dude powered' rock that has "redefined metal," according to Rolling Stone Magazine. With tracks in the hit video games ROCKBAND and Guitar Hero II and features on MTV, Rolling Stone, Spin and Billboard Magazines the band is one of the top American buzz bands.
“The atmosphere at National Lacrosse League games has more of a freewheeling spirit than other professional sports leagues and the music of Bang Camaro fits right in with our fan base and the mood at our games,” said Titans Chief Operating Officer Timothy Kelly. “It’s also the first time an NLL team has ever had a live band perform during warm-ups.”

About the New York Titans
The New York Titans are an indoor professional lacrosse team that plays at Madison Square Garden. The Titans’ 2007 season was their inaugural season in the National Lacrosse League. The Titans played their first home game in franchise history at the Garden on January 20, 2007 before a crowd of 13,127.
