MobiQuest, Noida based research and learning company launched its MobiTest product in India. The company already has 7 US customers using the product for testing, assessments and practice on the Mobile phone.
MobiTest allows your learners to log in on their simple common mobile phones and take practice, mock tests or corporate assessments anywhere & anytime. MobiTest server can connect with existing corporate learning systems or can deploy its own testing server for question bank creation and broadcast over the mobile phone. The mobile testing platform is quite robust and has all essential features like question randomization, timing of tests, assessment scoring, branching & looping and many more.
The product employs 15 question types and is quite intuitive and easy to use for both the administrator and students.
According to Vineet Narang, CEO, MobiQuest, "with mobile phone and GPRS penetration increasing globally, it has become one device that is always with the learner and is always connected. MobiTest is an innovative product can be used for k12 assessments, insurance agent testing, driving test questions practice, GRE/TOEFL/GMAT/Engineering/MBA exam testing and practice by students.
Corporate Learning departments can deploy this tool to enhance productivity and provide on the go training. Assessments can be taken by employees anywhere, anytime easily with their simple common personal mobile phones. HR departments can use this to conduct time based aptitude tests. The utility of the product is enormous and we already have 7 customers who have started using the product effectively".
Sabina Kamal, COO, of the company says that "the Mobiquest team is working on adding innovative enhancements to the product. MobiTest version 1.2 would support voice input and Videos. With Video, practice for learning comprehension and many other exams would become very easy on the mobile. We are quite happy with the way mobile technology is shaping up and we are working to enhance the product constantly".
The company is also talking to education and training institutes to use MobiTest as part of their curriculum and let students take mock and practice tests all through the semester over their mobile phones.
