United States(prwindow)-
June 08 2008 -USB Digital Frames sets it sights on bringing higher environmental standards to this segment of the electronics and promotional products industry with its newly acquired certification for RoHS, WEEE and TCO Certification designations.
“In general, the Chinese manufacturing sector has no clue as to their impact on the worlds environment” states John Graham, director of communications for USB Digital Frames. “ Because the manufacturing sector is so competitive the quick and dirty solution seems to prevail. Our aim with USB Digital Frames is to set a new environmental standard for this sector and prove that a Chinese manufacturing facility can be both environmental viable and economically profitable”
TCO Certification is a series of product certifications for office equipment ( most notably monitors ). It is set by TCO Development, owned by the Swedish Confederation of Professional Employees. RoHS and WEEE are important European eco certifications designed to standardize energy consumption standards and reclamation of post industrial waste. USB Digital Frames received these certifications in the first 4 months of 2008
